Queen Anna Maria of Greece was born in 1946, the daughter of King Frederick IX of Denmark and Queen Ingrid, the former princess of Sweden. Anna Maria is of impeccably royal ancestry. She married a remote cousin, King Constantine of Greece in 1964 at age 17. In 1967 Constantine was overthrown in a Greek military coup and the King and Queen went into exile.
