The annual Kanshin-ji illumination festival is taking place this weekend here in Kawachinagano.  The theme of the lightshow is based around the Nanboku-cho Northern and Southern Courts period and Kusunoki Masashige a famous samurai from that period who is especially important in the history of Kanshin-ji.  To help stave off the cold there is plenty of udon and oden on hand as well as lots of local produce and crafts for sale.  The lightshow starts up again tomorrow at 17.45 but I recommend…
