Non metallic metals with contrast paints

Hi all, With the release of the new Citadel contrast paints I thought it would be a great opportunity to re visit painting non metallic metals (nmm). I wanted to try out the new contrast colours and apply them to this technique to see what results I could achieve. With this in mind I picked a suitable miniature which was a Stormcast Liberator and undercoated it with the new wraithbone spray. Greenstuff Textured Bases - Part 1

I've been looking through my collection of Warhammer models. Everything, apart from those kits I've bought this year, is on square bases. I recently got back into Mordheim, and the rest of the group have converted to round bases. I bought the Greenstuff World textured rolling pins almost 18 months ago, and haven't really given them much use. All that is about to change, as I show you how awesome these rolling pins really are. The Textured Rolling Pins. These rolling pins are cast in clear…

IMPROBABLE MODELS FROM FANTASY-MASTER GREG DeSANTIS

SMN report: Today’s images are a trip back in time to the years 2005 and 2006, when US concept artist and modelmaker Greg DeSantis made a series of compelling fantasy and science-fiction models. However, these were not wood, plastic, or metal creations - instead, they were 3D models created in a computer - for Greg was, and is, a gifted digital modelmaker. Museum of the Improbable To publicize his virtual creations, Greg also created another masterpiece, the Museum of the Improbable, its…
