Calamagrostis acutiflora Karl Foerster's Feather Reed Grass Ht. 36-49" and upwards of 60" when it flowers in June. Works well when planted as specimen grass or in mass plantings. Provides winter interest as it stays upright. "Overdam variegated" is also my other favorite in the reed grass variety. Both are deer resistant and can take drought and moist conditions.
