I am a Ginger Rogers fan. She had many talents, such as singing, dancing and acting. She also had a very outgoing personality, which was very much part of her talent. And a beauty which no one can deny. I have seen quite a few of her movies and own quite a few also, and enjoy watching them often! Beauty and class, a well known classical actress! Ginger Rogers loved the gowns Bernard Newman designed for her. The gown shown above was worn in RKO's In Person in The gown was made of turquoise chiffon with hundreds of silver-lined bugle beads hand-sewn to the fabric. The buttons were rhinestones. This week's Illustration Friday topic is dance. So I dug this out of the archives. I did this back in the 80s when I wanted to be the next Bill Nelson. He's an excellent Colored Pencil Illustrator who was at the top of his game back then. Since then I have come to realize we all just need to be the next 'us'. The piece is incolored pencil on Canson drawing paper and is 18" x 24"
