My 1st car, Bought in 1995. I *loved* that car. :) 1985 Red Subaru XT GL Coupe. With cassette player. Which is what indirectly led to it's demise. ;)
1985 Subaru XT (Alcyone) The extreme wedge body shape was possible due to the engine's flat horizontally opposed cylinder layout shared by all Subarus in 1985. The result was one of the most aerodynamic production cars of its time.
1988 Plymouth Horizon. My Mom owned this car after my parents got divorced. My brother liked it so much he crashed his forehead through its front windshield. My brother is fine. The car a dim memory. I remember, though, I was impressed that my Mom knew how to drive a stick shift.
The ugly but functional Plymouth Horizon, circa 1988
