Belle Isle Covered Bridge - Inside - Belle Isle, Detroit
© Brian Callahan 2010 All rights reserved. Please View On Black This wooden bridge spans a pond on the now closed and fenced off golf course on Belle Isle in the Detroit River. Charming, but like most attractions on Belle Isle, in a bit of disrepair. To get close photos of this one needs to go under, over or through the fence. The grass has not been cut for several years. Bug repellent is advised in warm weather, I lost about a pint of blood to the ravenous mosquitos in there.
