Beccy's Place
I love this blessing and wanted it to be the focal point of my card, with a few little shamrocks scattered around as decoration. I had plenty of green paper off cuts in my scrap drawer so decided on a patchwork style background using 1" squares mounted on black cardstock. Since I printed the shamrocks quite small, I kept the colouring simple using just two markers. As you can see from the photo below, I separated the shamrocks by shortening the stems and cutting them apart with a pair of…

LNS Challenge 131 All White Daisies
Hello, Friends! Since I cheated a little on my "all white" card for Monday by using Basic Gray and Basic Black, I decided to make another one. This one is definitely all white. The sketch comes from Mary Jo's Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge. The "all white" was hard for me. I wanted to put a bright yellow or pink button on the flower but I resisted. Used a Stamping Up die for the frame, My Favorite Things flower and leaves dies, florist wire and a sentiment from Hero Arts. I embossed the flowers in an embossing folder before sticking them…
Flatten Bottle Caps in your Cuttlebug!
We have been altering bottle caps on the forum for a swap (I'll show you those next week!). I was determined to find a way to flatten them in the Cuttlebug, and it didn't take long at all! The bottle caps I have used are those you buy for home brewing. They come in bags of 50 for a couple of pounds. I bought mine from E-Bay - they were £1.50 for 100! I have tried this method of flattening with saved beer caps from Jesper's beer, but it doesn't work - you need the home brewing kind! However…
