Yunita's bento (Indonesia). Bento 2013 contest Grand Winner! Chirashi Spaghetti Bento This bento is inspired by Japanese unique Chirashi Sushi. For the spaghetti, I go with my favorite simple, light, yummy and healthy Tuna Spaghetti with cherry tomato. In another tier, I have rose flower bouquet (made from rolled thin egg omelet), yummy salmon cake (enjoyed with mayo and hot tomato ketchup), blanched broccoli, carrot butterflies freshen up with kiwi fruit, orange and kyuri cucumber slices.
Sinta's pasta bento. One of our TOP 20 Finalists. Australia, My pasta bento contains spaghetti aglio olio stir fried with garlic, button mushrooms, chopped parsley, green onions and chili slices. I also added half a boiled egg, blanched asparagus, chicken nuggets, cherry tomatoes and two carrot butterflies.
Michellane's pasta bento. One of our TOP 20 Finalists. USA. This colorful springtime bento features linguine with asparagus and peas. The crab cakes were made according to my grandmother's recipe using local Maryland crab. The Just Bento cookbook provided inspiration for the radish tulip and the smoked salmon, wakame, and cucumber salad. My mother taught me her technique for kinpira gobo, which makes a regular appearance in my bento.
Magali's pasta bento. One of our TOP 20 Finalists. France. 2 salades de pâtes faites maison : 1 salade pâtes/tomates et 1 salade pâtes/concombre sauce huile d'olive du sud de la France. 1 radis, 1 oeuf, dés de fromages. 3 feuilles de lasagnes roulées, fourrées au fromage ail et fine herbe avec concombre dedans et une fourrée au saucisson. Dessert : 1 mandarine confite produit local (Sud de la France aussi).
