In the front row (4th from left) is the CO of the 2nd Chutai, Lt Yasuro Masaki, while 2nd from the right is WO Kurimura, who had an accident during a test flight of the Squadron CO’s plane. On January 9, 1945 Kurimura would be killed in action. The 2nd from left in the second row is Sgt Masumi Yuki who in the same battle collided with a B-29.
