A true friend will always act in your best interest, even if it is against your will. After Kafka died, Brod, both his literary estate manager and close friend, was ordered to destroy all unpublished manuscripts. Defying Kafka's orders, Brod systematically released each of Kafka's works one by one. Brod knew that he could not follow his friend's demands, for his works were too moving to be thrown out, and as a result, Kafka's stories shaped German literature. Albert Einstein, Friedrich Nietzsche, Sigmund Freud, Novelist, Karl Marx, Literary, Writer, Charles Darwin
