When we were making our Mother's Day projects (shown below), I noticed that one of the pages included a simile. Then, it dawned on me that I have yet to teach my kids about similes :)! So, we used the project to jumpstart a simile mini-lesson! I made this chart that we used to come up with some similes for our moms! Notice the sticky notes... my sticky-note stash is GONE!
